Policy Uptake Elasticity (PUE)
Policy Uptake Elasticity (PUE) measures the degree to which an agency revises a proposed rule in the direction of the public comments it received. The rulemaking file covers 5,103 rulemakings by 109 U.S. federal agencies, with final rules published 2008–2025; the firm-year file covers 83,331 firm-years of 10,358 Compustat firms, fiscal years 2008–2024.

State-level Economic Policy Uncertainty (SEPU) Indices
Monthly economic policy uncertainty indices for each of the 50 U.S. states, based on newspaper coverage frequency in 204 million newspaper articles, March 1984 to December 2019. Start dates differ by state; Delaware has the latest, January 2007.
